m'AI Touch was developed by the HW GROUP laboratory of National Tsing Hua University, led by Professor Chen Hongwen, a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The m'AI Touch team stood out from more than 200 submitting teams and won the third place in the social group of the second Yunus Innovation Award.

The Taiwan Yunus Innovation Award was pledged by Terry Gou, the founder of Foxconn Group, at the 2019 Yunus East Asia Annual Meeting to support the Yunus Foundation in Taiwan to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship in social enterprises. Despite the peak of the pandemic in Taiwan, over 100 student and community teams enthusiastically registered to participate, hoping to solve the current social issues in Taiwan through social enterprise entrepreneurship.

In the evaluation of the community group, in addition to assessing the business model and innovation, the award also incorporates compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and social enterprise characteristics into the important scoring criteria. Therefore, the teams selected in this competition all have a certain social impact. In addition, the judges for this competition were quite prestigious, including former Premier Mao Chi-kuo, Yunus Foundation Chairman Tsai Hui-ling, Associate Professor Wang Jin-guo of Kinmen University, and CEO Wang Juan-min of the Yunus Foundation.
