m'AI Touch's Touchless AI Technology: Taiwan’s Innovation Boosting Global Public Health
At the "World Health We Share" special exhibition held in Geneva, the Taiwan United Nations Alliance (TAIUNA) WHO Advocacy Group showcased Taiwan's outstanding achievements in national health insurance, medical technology, and international healthcare from May 25 to 28 at the Geneva Airport Station. m'AI Touch was the only enterprise invited to participate, demonstrating Taiwan’s global leadership in AI-driven touchless technology and highlighting our contribution to public health innovation.
As COMPUTEX 2024 gathered tech giants to envision the future of AI, m'AI Touch’s "Touchless AI Add-on Device"—the world's first zero-contact AI elevator solution—was recently invited to be featured in the 2024 WHO Advocacy Group’s special exhibition. By combining multiple sensors with proprietary AI algorithms for dual-layer reliability, this technology effectively solves the technical challenges of existing touchless buttons. It eliminates the risk of virus transmission through public panels, setting a new global standard for elevator public hygiene.
The touchless AI technology developed by m'AI Touch integrates optical detection with advanced AI algorithms, specifically designed for daily elevator use. This technology is compatible with any elevator brand. Once the add-on device is installed, users can select floors simply by pointing in the air, providing a simple yet effective solution for public epidemic prevention. The demonstration at the "World Health We Share" exhibition directly showcased a public health design philosophy aimed at reducing infectious disease risks.
Dr. Hung-Wen Chen, founder of m'AI Touch and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, stated: "The technology of m'AI Touch seamlessly integrates virus prevention into daily life. Users can enjoy a highly stable and precise elevator experience without changing their original habits. Compared to traditional methods that require extensive manpower for cleaning, m'AI Touch not only prevents virus transmission but also significantly reduces resource waste while enhancing public health standards."
This AI touchless device is applicable to all types of elevators without needing to replace original panels. Installation can be completed in under three hours, drastically reducing the time and cost of renovations. Even if an elevator is equipped with access control systems, the add-on device remains compatible. Furthermore, the system can be upgraded in the future to include remote VIP hailing functions, enabling service robots to navigate elevators autonomously and further lowering deployment costs in the market.
